Reinventing Education in a Digital World.
Michelle R. Weise, author of Long-Life Learning: Preparing for Jobs that Don’t Even Exist Yet and a specialist in higher education and talent, is set to participate in the enlightED Hybrid Edition 2021, the world education, technology and innovation congress organised by the Telefónica Foundation, IE University and South Summit.
At present and over the last decade, Dr. Weise’s work has focused primarily on preparing working-age adults for both existing and future jobs. Her comments on redesigning higher education and developing more innovative rational strategies to enhance talent and develop professionals have been featured on some of the main international news sites like The Economist, The Wall Street Journal or The New York Times.
Dr. Weise has also worked as a senior advisor for Imaginable Futures, which belongs to the Omidyar Group, and was Head of Innovation of the Strada Education Network and at Southern New Hampshire University. In 2021, Thinkers50 named her one of 30 management and leadership thinkers in the world to watch in 2021.
On joining the enlightED Hybrid Edition 2021, Dr. Weise will form part of a list of major Spanish and international reference figures in education, technology and innovation who will take part in the three-day conference on the 19th, 20th and 21st of October to reflect on three of the major gaps created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
