The president of Fundación Telefónica, César Alierta, emphasises the importance of digitisation for economic growth. There is an exponential growth in the well-being of humanity as a result of the digital revolution; a revolution that brings and will bring new jobs with it. In this sense, digital education plays a key role in reaching everyone, so it must be adapted to the skills that future or present jobs require and it must allow a solid digital training for teachers. It also stressed the importance of solving the privacy problem and Telefónica’s work for digital ethics.
