J. M. Álvarez-Pallete and Satya Nadella: Learning, Teaching and Working after 2020

José María Álvarez-Pallete, Chairman of Telefónica, talks with Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, about the future of education and employment after the pandemic, in a context marked by digital transformation. An education which, thanks to technology, has been maintained despite the Covid-19 crisis, but which, as the president of Telefónica reminds us, must not leave anyone behind. Inequality and the digital divide, he says, are the big challenges to be tackled. Nadella also reflects on the future of work, with telecommuting gaining more prominence in the pandemic, and the big role that data will play in the future of employment.
