Rose Luckin, Professor in Student Centered Learning Design at UCL and Director of EDUCATE, explains how artificial intelligence is one of the great tools that could be used to innovate and improve education in the future. Luckin explains that artificial intelligence is much more than a technology, it is a way of thinking, of solving problems, of understanding challenges, all through learning with data. This is why we need to think about how we can use data to improve our education and learning environments. In addition, he stresses the importance of better understanding human intelligence itself, as this will help us to position artificial intelligence and how it can help us appropriately.
